It’s a raw time, a vulnerable time, a frustrating and a downright uncomfortable time in history.
AND the paradigm is shifting – injustice is being uncovered – the dirty laundry is getting aired out.
We have a long-ass way to go no doubt, but the truth is that the veil is beginning to lift.
With that said, while I believe that we all need to feel ALL of the feels, I also believe that this is not the time for getting stuck in the muddy trenches.
That NOW more than ever, it’s time for us to come together and CELEBRATE the de-censoring, awakening and RISING of women’s voices.
To do the courageous work needed so that we can allow for our voices to be heard.
And for those of us who believe in this new paradigm, to come together and LEAD WITH LOVE.
I work with a lot of artists and creatives in the women’s leadership work that I do, and last year I kept hearing about the inequality present as well in the music industry.
This coupled with the truth that so many of us in our tech-driven age are yearning for safe communities in which we can go back to our ROOTS and feel safe enough to BE WHO WE ARE, and heal through creative expression, is WHY I was called to create Our Loud Hearts.
OUR LOUD HEARTS. That name says it all to me.
Our Loud Hearts – a daylong music and creative arts festival celebrating the amplification of women’s voices.
The event is taking place on 22 acres of serene Sonoma County land in Petaluma, and features a stellar music line up, dance and spoken word interludes, creative DIY workshops, live DJ + dance party, self-care sanctuary, dessert bar and more…
