Winter Solstice Home Ritual + Reflections For You

Lead With Strength. Embody Your Truth. Spread The Love.

Happy Winter Solstice beautiful beings!

Today brings the shortest day and longest night of the year – one more day of waning into the darkness, before we swing back into the light.

Tonight we have the opportunity to pause, be still, go inward and lean into the dark.

To lay to rest the efforts of this past year, restore our reserves and set intentions for the coming year ahead.

Last week I had the honor of leading two Winter Solstice inspired retreats – one closed out an epic yearlong women’s circle called the Soulstice Sisterhood, and the other welcomed new women into our 2018 circle.

Through meditation, dance, sound healing, ceremony and coming together in supportive sisterhood, we dropped into the themes of Restoration and Rebirth. We journaled on these themes, and want to share with you some of the questions I asked the women at the events…

Tonight on the actual solstice, I invite you to take a moment to cozy up, light a candle, and take some sacred time out for yourself to drop into these questions:

  • How would you like to restore your reserves during this season of winter?
  • If you were to give yourself the gift of restoration, what would that renewed energy open up for you in 2018?
  • What are you ready to say YES to in 2018? What are you ready to birth into the world?

What’s one small step that you can take towards that intention? Find a quiet space free from distractions to dive into these questions and see what unfolds…

I’m wishing you so much rest and nourishment as we move into the coming year ahead, and wishing you a very happy and joyful holiday season!

ps. If the Soulstice Sisterhood has piqued your curiosity, I invite you to learn more about this epic yearlong women’s circle HERE.  After an influx of applications from around the world last year, I’m thrilled to share that we’re expanding our local women’s circle to offering both an in person and virtual track this go around…so excited for this next cycle!
